live music
Cliff Westfall
Join us in the Tasting Room each Friday for Live Music!
Make your reservation here.
New York-based country songwriter Cliff Westfall writes songs about heartache, loss, addiction… you know, funny songs. Or he can turn on a dime and dive headlong into a sentimental weeper. The Kentucky native delivers with a mixture of wit and bravado that, for Westfall, is central to what country music is all about.
Cliff was born and raised in Owensboro, not far from tiny Rosine, Kentucky where Bill Monroe invented bluegrass music, and he grew up listening endlessly to Kentuckians like The Everly Brothers who changed the path of popular music. Though he got his start playing cowpunk music in Kentucky, he soon left his home state behind for the bright lights of New York City. And though rural America is endlessly mythologized today in modern country music, the city is still at the heart of country, and still a source of new inspirations and influences on the traditions. On Baby You Win, Cliff Westfall brings his Kentucky roots to a very urban New York world, opening up the old country sounds to a much wider vision of Americana.

Live music
Milton Music
Join us in the Tasting Room each Friday for Live Music!
A songwriter’s songwriter, known for his lyric craft, distinctive voice and soulful songs steeped in classic rhythm & blues, pop, jazz, folk and country, Milton first gained notoriety in his hometown New York City when his song “In The City” became a hit on New York’s WFUV radio. His live performances, which include material from every one of his albums, are praised for their wit, humor, and captivating charm.
Milton has toured extensively throughout the states since 2005, as a headliner and appearing as support for his hero and mentor Chris Smither, in addition to shows and tours with Joan Osborne, Steave Earle, Dave Alvin & Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Sonny Landreth, Colin Hay, Kat Edmonson, Josh Ritter and many more.
In late 2019, Milton premiered his 5th and finest album Studio City with a sold out show at City Vineyard NYC. The album, a veritable tour de force of songwriting and studio craft, features 12 ultra-catchy, concise tunes ranging in style from Sinatra-esque full orchestra swing, to Sgt. Pepper-like whimsical comedy to vintage country and New Orleans rhythm and blues. In concert, Milton and his ultra-sharp band of NYC veteran session players deliver the songs seamlessly with Milton’s own graceful live arrangements.

Anniversary Celebration concert
Celebrate Seminary Hill’s 4th Anniversary with a special concert with Shlomo Franklin and his band.

Shlomo Franklin was born on a small cow farm in upstate New York. Going up he was isolated from mainstream culture, without access to music, television, or radio. His songs are heavily influenced by his cult-like religious upbringing.
Shlomo released his debut album in 2019, produced by Grammy Award winner C Lanzbom. He is currently based in Nashville, TN, where he is working on a follow-up album. Franklin has opened for Jakob Dylan and The Wallflowers and has shared festival stages with The Nude Party and The Bones of JR Jones. His music resonates both in large venues and intimate settings. Shlomo considers himself a traditional troubadour and is stubbornly trendless.
